What Gets Confirmed on a Harley Fitment?
Harley platforms changed significantly across generations, so nothing is assumed from a catalog. Six items are engineered and locked at the 3D drawing stage:
Axle & hub, per generation
Axle diameters, bearing seats and hub geometry differ across model years and platform generations — your spec is built to your exact model and year, not a family average.
Rotor mounting, single or dual
Rotor bolt pattern and offset confirmed for your brake setup, including dual-disc fronts on Touring models.
Belt line
Rear pulley mounting and belt alignment verified — the detail that separates a true bolt-on from a shop headache.
ABS sensor provision
Sensor ring accommodation built into the wheel spec so factory ABS keeps working exactly as designed.
Big-front bagger packages
Street Glide and Road Glide big fronts — 21″, 23″, 26″, 30″ or 32″ — are engineered as a package: wheel, rotor relocation and fender/fork clearance reviewed together before production.
Tube vs tubeless
Forged wheels run tubeless; traditional laced builds run tubes, with tubeless requirements for Pan America and touring laced setups assessed per project.
Forged or Laced — Match the Construction to the Build
Forged 6061-T6 Aluminum
The construction behind modern bagger and Softail customs: deep machined spoke designs, custom finishes, engraved branding — with the strength-to-weight to back the look.
About Forged Wheels →
Laced — 7-Series Rim + Stainless Spokes
The look Milwaukee iron was born with. Custom lacing patterns and spoke counts for Heritage, bobber and club-style builds — and the working construction for Pan America.
About Laced Wheels →Both constructions support custom dimensions, finishes including anodizing, and engraved logos — from one set to a full private-label dealer program.
How Fitment Is Guaranteed
Every Harley project follows the same six steps:
1. Send your model and year plus target sizes and finish direction. 2. 3D drawing — axle, rotors, belt line, ABS and clearances engineered for your bike and shown for your sign-off. 3. Production to the approved drawing — typically 25–30 days after approval. 4. Inspection — finished wheels are checked against the approved drawing and photographed for your approval before release. 5. Export packing and customs — export clearance in China and import clearance in your country handled for you. 6. Tracked shipping to your destination.
The risk sits with the process, not with you
Nothing is produced until you approve the 3D drawing. Every custom wheel carries a 3-year structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty, single sets are welcome before dealer volume, and an NDA is available for program designs. Payment by T/T; PayPal accepted on sample orders (handling fee applies). See documented customer orders.
Harley-Davidson Wheels — Frequently Asked Questions
Which Harley-Davidson models can you build wheels for?
All Harley-Davidson models — Touring and bagger models like Street Glide, Road Glide and Road King; Softail models including Fat Boy, Breakout and Low Rider S/ST; Sportster models from Iron 883 and Forty-Eight to Sportster S and Nightster; legacy Dyna platforms; and the Pan America. We build diameters from 16 to 32 inches (size ranges are listed on this page), and fitment for your exact model and year is confirmed on a 3D drawing you approve before production.
Can you build big front wheels for bagger builds?
Yes — we build big fronts at 21, 23, 26, 30 and 32 inches for Street Glide and Road Glide bagger builds, quoted per project. Because an oversized front changes fender clearance, brake mounting and steering geometry, the full package is engineered and confirmed at the 3D drawing stage: wheel, rotor mounting and clearances together, before anything is produced.
Should I choose forged or laced wheels for a Harley?
It follows the build. Forged 6061-T6 aluminum carries the deep machined designs that define modern bagger and Softail customs, and saves weight. Laced wheels with 7-series rims and stainless spokes deliver the traditional look for Heritage, bobber and club-style builds — and suit Pan America adventure use.
Do custom wheels keep ABS and belt drive working?
Yes. ABS sensor ring provision is built into the wheel specification, and rear pulley mounting with correct belt line is verified for belt-driven models — both are part of the fitment package you approve on the 3D drawing.
What is the minimum order, lead time and warranty?
One set is the minimum, and dealer volume is supported. Production typically takes 25–30 days after you approve the final 3D drawing, confirmed per project; quotes are sent within 48 working hours once your details are complete. Every custom wheel carries a 3-year structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty; damage from accidents, improper installation, misuse or modification is excluded. If your market requires certification such as DOT, state it in your quote request and we will confirm what is available for your project.
