What Gets Confirmed on a BMW Fitment?
Six items are engineered and locked at the 3D drawing stage for your exact model:
Axle & hub interface
Axle diameters, bearing seats and hub geometry specified per model and year — an S1000RR and an R 18 share a badge and nothing else.
Shaft final drive rear hub
The R nineT, R 1250 RT and R 18 put the final drive through the hub itself — the rear wheel is engineered around your model's shaft-drive interface, not adapted to it. The chain-driven S1000RR gets its own sprocket-carrier spec.
Rotor mounting
Bolt pattern and offset matched to your calipers — dual-disc fronts on the S1000RR, R nineT, R 1250 RT and R 18.
ABS & ride-mode sensors
Sensor ring accommodation built into the spec so ABS Pro and dynamic systems keep their inputs.
R nineT custom packages
Café, scrambler or tracker direction — spoke design, lacing pattern and finish specified to your build reference before production.
C 400 scooter interfaces
The C 400 uses its own hub and final-drive arrangement — specified per model and year, exactly like any motorcycle project.

Match the Construction to the Build
Forged 6061-T6 Aluminum
For S1000RR track work, R nineT customs and R 1250 RT fast-touring builds — machined designs and deep finishes with the strength-to-weight to match.

Laced — 7-Series Rim + Stainless Spokes
For classic R nineT and R 18 looks: custom lacing patterns and spoke counts, specified to your reference and confirmed per project.

How Fitment Is Guaranteed
An S1000RR track set or an R 18 classic, the process is identical:
1. Send your model and year plus target sizes, tires and finish direction. 2. 3D drawing — every interface engineered for your bike and shown for your sign-off. 3. Production to the approved drawing — typically 25–30 days after approval. 4. Inspection — finished wheels are checked against the approved drawing and photographed for your approval before release. 5. Export packing and customs — export clearance in China and import clearance in your country handled for you. 6. Tracked shipping to your destination.
The risk sits with the process, not with you
Nothing is produced until you approve the 3D drawing. Every custom wheel carries a 3-year structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty, single sets are welcome before volume, and an NDA is available for program designs. Payment by T/T; PayPal accepted on sample orders (handling fee applies). See documented customer orders.
BMW Wheels — Frequently Asked Questions
Which BMW models can you build wheels for?
We build for the S1000RR (2013–2018 and 2019 on, including the M Package), the R nineT (before and after 2017), the R 1250 RT, the R 18 and the C 400. Standard front and rear sizes for each are listed on this page, and fitment for your exact model and year is confirmed on a 3D drawing you approve before production.
Can you build wheels for shaft-drive BMW models?
Yes. On shaft-drive models — the R nineT, R 1250 RT and R 18 — the rear wheel is engineered around the final-drive hub interface for your exact model and confirmed on the 3D drawing before production.
Should I choose forged or laced wheels for a BMW?
Follow the build. Forged 6061-T6 aluminum suits S1000RR performance work, R nineT machined-look customs and R 1250 RT fast-touring builds. For classic R nineT and R 18 looks, laced construction can be specified — lacing pattern and tube or tubeless set-up confirmed per project.
Do custom wheels keep BMW's ABS and dynamic systems working?
Yes. Sensor ring provision is built into the wheel specification so ABS Pro and dynamic traction systems keep reading correctly — confirmed as part of the 3D drawing you approve before production.
What is the minimum order, lead time and warranty?
One set is the minimum, and dealer volume is supported. Production typically takes 25–30 days after you approve the final 3D drawing, confirmed per project; quotes are sent within 48 working hours once your details are complete. Every custom wheel carries a 3-year structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty; damage from accidents, improper installation, misuse or modification is excluded. If your market requires certification such as JWL or DOT, state it in your quote request and we will confirm what is available for your project.
