What Happens After You Approve the Wheels?
Shipping starts at the last quality gate: you approve photos of your finished wheels, and only then are they packed.

How Long Does Motorcycle Wheel Shipping Take?
These are the times we give buyers before they order. They count from the day the shipment departs — not from your order date, and not including production.
| Method | Normal transit after departure | Usually chosen for |
|---|---|---|
| Air | 12–15 days | A single set, or when you need the wheels sooner |
| Sea | 28–35 days | Worth comparing when several sets ship together |
For the full timeline, add production: 25–30 days after you approve the 3D drawing. New cast wheel designs that need a new mold add about 2 months for mold development and sample approval.
What can add time — and what we do about it
Customs inspections, remote delivery areas and public holidays can all add days, and a customs inspection is outside any shipper's control. What is in our control is staying on it: in one documented order, an air shipment to the buyer was held for inspection at the destination airport for about half a month. We followed up with the shipping agent, told the buyer plainly what was and was not in our hands, and kept the buyer updated until release. Read what the buyer wrote afterwards →

Support doesn't stop at the door. Fitment and installation questions are answered after delivery, and every custom wheel carries a 3-year structural and 1-year finish warranty (accidents, improper installation, misuse and modification excluded).
Why freight is quoted separately
Freight depends on your exact delivery address and postcode, how many sets ship together and whether they go by air or sea. We price it through our shipping agents for your actual address and keep it separate from the wheel price, so the wheel price stays comparable across orders and you can weigh speed against cost for each shipment — before you commit.
Packaging & Shipping — Frequently Asked Questions
How long does motorcycle wheel shipping take?
Normally 12–15 days after departure by air and 28–35 days after departure by sea. These times count from when the shipment leaves, not from your order date; production takes 25–30 days after 3D drawing approval. Customs inspection, remote delivery areas and holiday periods can add time.
Should I ship by air or by sea?
Air is faster and is the usual choice for a single set or an urgent order. Sea takes longer and is worth comparing when several sets ship together. Both options can be priced in your quote so you can weigh speed against cost, and door-to-door delivery can be arranged.
Who handles customs clearance for my wheels?
FLEXIMOTO handles both sides: export clearance in China and import clearance in your country. Duties, taxes and the Incoterm that applies to your order are confirmed in your quote, so there are no surprises at the border.
What happens if customs holds my shipment?
A customs inspection is outside the shipper's control, but you are not left to chase it. FLEXIMOTO follows up with the shipping agent and keeps you updated until the goods are released. In one documented order, an air shipment was held for inspection at the destination airport for about half a month and the buyer was updated throughout.
Is shipping included in the wheel price?
No. Freight is quoted separately from the wheels. It is priced through our shipping agents from your full delivery address and postcode, the quantity and the shipping method you choose.
How are the wheels packed?
Finished wheels are wrapped in protective film and foam and packed in cartons, labeled to your requirements. The packed wheels are photographed for you before pickup.
Can I track my shipment?
Yes. A tracking number is sent to you on dispatch, and you can follow it on the carrier's site or on a tracking service such as 17TRACK.
What shipping documents do you provide?
Commercial invoice and packing list for every shipment, HS-code guidance, and compliance files where applicable for your market. OEM and private-label orders can have packaging labeled to your requirements.
What should I do when the wheels arrive?
Check the packaging and wheels on arrival and photograph anything that looks wrong before installation. Send the photos with your order details and we review it with you. Fitment and installation support continues after delivery, and every custom wheel carries a 3-year structural and 1-year finish warranty.
